Halloween Fun

What a busy day! In the morning, we counted all the seeds in our pumpkin! To do this we put ten seeds in a small bag at a time. After we counted all the seeds by tens. We figured out our pumpkin had 575 seeds! The winner of our school-wide contest was Mariah who is in the second grade. Her guess was 605 seeds.

In the afternoon we trick-or-treated through out the school. The kids had received tons of candy today!

After trick-or-treating, we ate all our harvested snacks. The kids had apples, oranges, grapes, carrots and pineapple!

Here I am with all the teachers! I was Miss. Viola Swamp, a character from one of our favorite books, "Miss. Nelson is Missing."

We had a great day! Thank you SO much to all the families that sent in treats, snacks and paper products! Also, a HUGE thank you goes to Ms. Holt, Ms. Dysard, Ms. Cochran, and Ms. Johnson for all their help at our party!
