Beach Day Fun

We had tons of fun today on Beach Day today! Our classroom transformed into a beach as we used beach towels instead of desks as our learning spots and listened to tropical music. We had a watermelon snack, played beach bingo, and watched Leroy and Stitch. The kids really enjoyed this special day!

Check out our watermelon smiles!!!

Toledo Zoo Chaperones

Tomorrow you will be receiving a note about our last field trip as a class to the Toledo Zoo on Wednesday, June 15th. I have openings for 3 chaperones. I am giving preference to parents who have not come with us on a field trip yet this year. Younger siblings may not come along if you are chaperoning the field trip. Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in coming along and have not been on a field trip yet through my e-mail, kwoolsey@uprep.com

Beach Day Reminder

Just reminding parents that tomorrow, Tuesday May 31st is Beach Day for students to turned in a completed Milestone #4. Students who did received a note from me that stated they are able to participate in the day.

Students will dress in beach/summertime day attire. They should wear things such as flip-flops, shorts, t-shirts, sun visors and sunglasses. Swimming suits are not permitted. If students wear flip-flops, please bring a change of shoes for recess and gym. Students may also bring a beach towel with them.

I will provide a snack for the students tomorrow to go with our beach theme. We will play beach bingo, read and do work on our towels, listen to tropical music, and watch Lilo and Stitch in the afternoon.
